So sometimes randomly, I notice a small glitch, usually when using the undo/redo function. I just feel like "that didn't look right," some little jump in movement.

Well my instincts are usually correct, because a full row of frames just vanish, kapoof!

I just had a scare right now. Luckily every time, I have been able to revert my save and recover everything. I thought I wouldn't this time but smartly, did not press Cntrl-S after the glitchyness.

Has anyone lost a good chunk of work because of this, and am I just pressing some mysterious hotkey I don't know about?

Wow, that would suck. I've never used undo/redo though, so can't say I've experienced the same thing.

The only time I ever use undo/redo is when I'm working only on the music itself & not on any other settings (so I wouldn't use undo if I created a new frame or changed the tempo/speed/number of lines per frame). But I do know how frustrating it is when you undo/redo something beyond what you actually need.

I...never use Undo/Redo unless it's something like Copy/Paste a frame for a channel or something as a template and edit it slightly for another portion of the song. Even then, I only undo when it's in the wrong spot and that just removes the notes in that frame that I wanted to remove in the first place. To lose a lot of your work...personally, that would make me quit the program for quite a while when ridiculousness like that happens.

I use undo all the time, redo occasionally. No problems here, although I take care not to undo/redo after adding/removing/reordering frames. Also I'm still on v0.4.1, fwiw.

Perhaps it time to remind you all that this software comes with absolutely no warranty, as stated in the GPL license. Keep your own backups of important work!

I'll fix bugs if you make proper reports, but threads like these doesn't help me much.

Well it just happened again, it merged frame 5 and 6, taking out the real frame 6.

Luckily once again I dodged a bullet, my file is safe.

JSR, I didn't know if it was a bug or a bad hotkey. I don't really know how to go reporting it, it happens randomly. I stopped using Redo so it definitely isn't that. I had no Dxx command which I thought before was the issue. I'm thinking it has to do with Undo. I do remember using octave up/down shortly before, which I have set to Shift Up and Shift Down
