While this has nothing to do with the program itself I thought I should introduce myself as I am a new member.
I recently started to use FamiTracker and I'm still trying to learn to use it properly.
Do you know how to read? This is the wrong forum to be posting stuff like that. Go into the general forum( Famitracker Talk) or post some music you've made with thread. Anyways, greetings.
Thom isn't going to be an ass to anyone here anytime soon.

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to request a hardware render.

Finally
Anyways, welcome! The people other than thom on this forum are mostly very nice people. I'm not really fond of the people who post once in a blue moon, mostly to post their modules, though.[/hypocrisy]
Just test around with stuff and post some of your stuff here, all of us would be glad to help that is what this section is for. And trust me, NONE of us start out amazing, it will take time to get good, I've been using the program for almost a year, and I'm not even CLOSE to knowing maybe even half of everything.
Anyways, welcome :D

Just because you're bad at using the program now, it doesn't mean you're permanently bad at using it. Just do like TEHMEGAMASTAH said; play around with it. Experiment with different things & read whatever you can from the help file & the wiki to learn new tricks. It's all about practice to improve your skills.

I made a little "Unfinished" song to pratice and I think it sounds good.
Okay first of all, you are going to want to start with a much lower speed while you're still getting used the program, I started at about 6 but 4 is also a decent choice, secondly, ALWAYS make your echo quieter than your lead unless for a special reason and use a Pxx command on the echo, P7F is what I recommend. Otherwise just work on timing and fool around with duty cycles to get some cool results.
EDIT: here's a little example of what I'm talking about. Ignore what I did with the note cuts in the noise channel.
