Two of my new songs. Please say what you think (constructive).

The song Trippy is featured in the soundtrack of the platformer game MKF. It's designed for an atari esque level.

Yeeeeees is just a random song I created, I'm quite proud of it (especially the ending part of it).

I'm trying to develop my famitracker skills to become better. I would appreciate if someone could take some of their valuable time and write about what I could improve because that's the only way to know what you've done wrong. So please comment and help a guy out...

No, this is not the only way. Right way is to listen and analyze music of your favorite musicians, and trying to make something similar. Reading something about music theory does not hurt too.

Wrong way is to beg for comments and suggestions at point, when no one can really help you, because everything still need very serious improvements, i.e. the only suggestion is: make everything better. Also, get some patience. You asked same things just about month (!) ago. You know, it's usually take years before you'll start to make OK music (not good, not bad - just OK). For me it took three years, for example.

Another thing which could help you - try to make cover versions of other's music. For start, you can use MIDI as reference (looking at notes, yes); later you can try to get the track only by ear, at least partially. This way you'll learn many interesting things.

Also, another thing that ties into patience: These are not the most active forums in the world. If you post something then post a reply that begs for suggestions in less than 24 hours, chances are no one's going to look too highly upon you or your music.

I've learned a lot by covering Mega Man music from ear, and as it turns out, Shiru is right. In about 8 months I've gotten progressively better at it with practice. So time and practice, not comments from others, are really the only things that will help you get better. Not to say comments aren't valuable, but they only serve to point as to what direction you need to practice harder.

Well... I thank you... You've both opened my eyes. I have been doing famitracker for a couple of months... but I felt I wasn't getting enough progress. Guess I was to stupid to take your advice the first time shiru. Guess I'll see you guys in a year or two. Cheers!

Ps: These forums is really inactive, I'm not used to that.
