im trying to change my channels to square...

but my four channles are pulse,,,pulse 2 , triangle,, noise

Putting V02 in the effect column of a pulse channel gets a square sound. There is no square channel...that's a misnomer.

Nice link to a 404 page.

Also, along with what cak said, if you're using the VRC6 expansion chip, you can type V07 in the VRC6 pulse channels' effects columns to produce square waves.

squirrelnuts: maybe famitracker isn't the tool for you for what you're looking for.

why don't you try milkytracker and draw your own squarewaves?

The link worked for me on the day it was posted.

If famitracker works fine for you, go ahead and use it. I can think of a myriad of reasons I'd rather stick with famitracker than try milkytracker, especially if you just want to make chippy sounds... lol.
