So, this particular original song came out of a collab between me and SuperHiggins. He started it, got up to frame 07, and never finished. I picked it up from there.

It was created with the idea that it might be the opening theme for some sort of RPG.

Yes, I do have permission from him to post it here.

Comments? Criticisms? Insane ramblings? All are accepted.

Wow; pretty good.

My only sugestion would be to not use a static volume level for your VRC6 square channels (try to add something like volume fades to make it more dynamic). Other than that, it sounds great.

Also liking the username.

Needs more volume shenanigans you say? Ok then, How about this? I went through the whole thing and tried to add a little bit of volume variation to parts that needed it, along with some other things I felt the need to change along the way.

You should build your own musical Tesla coil, Techdisk.

This cool but... no room for a kick drum? I've always been curious as to why a lot of famitracker, and NES vgm for that matter, lacks a kick drum.

I've been trying to hold this back, but many people don't realise that the triangle play an octive lower then the rest of the sound channels. I'm not saying you don't know, but everytime someone copies the bass lines to the triangle, it sounds way to low and ugly. I'm not sure if you intended to be that way, but it's something I really don't like.

No problem! I in fact did not know that the triangle plays an octave lower, though listening to it now,it's so obvious that i can't believe i hadn't figured it out by myself. I'm currently looking through the song again and seeing what i can do. As i said, any comments or criticisms are appreciated!
