hey, I would like to use this tracker but I find the one missing feature for me is the delay effect.
try making the original smb-theme and you'll understand how cumbersome jazzy rhythms are without delay as you must raise the tempo to like 4 times the normal to get the right... ..usable frame resolution.. eheh
a global shuffle rhythm could be achieved by just altering the tempo continuously and maybe that would be the best way to track the smb-theme but there're other cases when I really want a local delay effect.
it would be easy to implement without rewriting alot of code right?
if you're not sure exactly how you want it I'd like a speed setting that sets the number of usable ticks that every row is divided in (which may or may not affect the arpeggio in this case due to preference).
so if you set song speed = 5, you can use delay (0,) 1, 2, 3 or 4 "ticks" on any single note.
a global delay or a groove setting as in lsdj would be nice aswell as changing the tempo won't let you read the bpm without doing some simple yet tedious math in your head - contra keeping one tempo and delaying ie. every second row.
i don't think it's necessary to add a song speed though
it could be Qxx where xx is the row length percentage for the delay
or just 0x so that 00 - 0F is 0% - 100% or 00 - 0A is 0% - 100% or something....
also also there could be an effect for retriggering a note x times at y volume in a single row like Rxy
(the first trigger would be at set volume outside the efect)
Yes I've had this one suggested before, thanks anyway!
I tried on it for this version, but it wasn't that easy so I'm probably going to add it for the next one.
Having xx as the precentage between rows would probably be best, but I'll presumably go for the first one (where xx = ticks) since I want to keep the caluclations in NSF's at a minimum.
I believe the logical solution here, if jsr (or slize106 if that is the case) doesn't take action that is, is to just delete the spam posts and make a list of the users whom of which are spam-bots.
I'd appreciate it if you could just remove the spam and report it to me so I can remove the users, making more posts about it is unnecessary and I don't have the time to check all threads every day. We are aware about the problem and will try to come up with a solution.
