Hey y'all! Pretty new to the software, so sorry if this is a dumb question.
I just added the VRC6 chipset onto a piece I'm working on, but whenever I put any notes into those channels (Pulse 3, 4, and Squaretooth), they copy onto every individual module of the song instead of just the one that I put them into. Is there any way to turn this off, or is that just how this particular expansion works?
There's the order editor, which is the box located in the upper-left corner of the window. You can right-click it and then select the option "Insert frame", or you can also change the patterns manually (the numbers that are displayed there).
I left a bad-quality pic which I hope helps you locate the order editor. You basically go to this box, double-click the numbers you want to change (the patterns) and you give them a value between 00 and 7F (hexadecimal). This way you can insert new stuff in any other frames you create.
