DPCM is for playing samples - not briefed on the technical side of it, but it's generally used for playing drums or voice samples.

Pop into your instrument editor, hit the DPCM tab, Import, and find a WAV of whatever sample you want and import it. Then bind that sample to a key.

I think there's a few collections of DMC samples ripped from games you can use as well

Also be warned, if you have a 7 sec loop, the Importer will make it only one sec.
Thats the NES limitations tho.
Otherwise you like Low quality sounds and turn the Quality in the Import window to 0 (Note: When assigning one sample at a note you must turn the pitch down to the specific Quality you imported it. Otherwise it'll play faster)
