Well, we all know that FamiCompo Mini has officially ended after 10 years of talent, but what if we were to keep this tradition alive somehow?

Sure, there's Battle Of The Bits with its community & contests, but, since I'm revamping an old site for Jamie Sanders to promote open source emulation projects (including FamiTracker,) I thought that keeping FamiCompo Mini alive up there would be a sort of salute to the chiptune & homebrew scene.

What do you guys think?

P.S.: FamiTracker will have its own general page on that site with some general info, which will hopefully make it a good 3rd party source for making a Wikipedia entry in the future. :P

Robokabuto announced in the niconico stream that he's gonna carry the flame. Let's wait for that instead

(though I'm open to there being other formats like a VGM compo)

I'm honestly open to that too, but I hope Robokabuto follows up to his promise.

In the meanwhile, I'm trying to update the site to be more like Zophar's Domain, NESDev & other sites that are devoted to documenting different systems & showcasing the different open source initiatives going on in the scene. Mind you, it would be good for the site to have something more interactive.

If anyone else wants to help out with that, please PM me.
