Hey guys, I would like to get into chiptunes/8bit music and I have downloaded FamiTracker but have no idea to use it, can someone give me a quick tutorial? The help guide doesn't make sense. Confused

This is not about FamiTracker in particular, it's about trackers in general. You must learn these basics first.

if it's any encouragement, i hadn't tracked at all before FamiTracker, and i managed to learn it just fine. your first tracker is a bit of a steep learning curve at the very start but it soon flattens out and becomes second nature.

Haha... for the longest time, when I first started using Famitracker - I did not know how to enter notes...

Eventually I realized that pressing the spacebar once made that possible. Hahaha...

It is pretty easy after you get passed that. Just download other people's songs and study them, and use your own intuition. It just takes practice.
