When I use the NSF Importer on Batman Track 1 (found here [url=http://www.zophar.net/music/nsf/batman.html]http://www.zophar.net/music/nsf/batman.html) there is a very noticeable difference in the lead part's chorus/tremolo effect on extended notes. In the original version it's much more lush and open sounding, but the imported track sounds harder/hallow, like the two channels are canceling each other out. I see the PXX bits in there so it's definitely capturing some kind of effect. Is one channel simply out of sync?
I've tried exporting the import from FamiTracker and replaying in the same external program (Winamp, Xplay, using both NotSoFat and NoseFast plugins) but that doesn't fix the issue, so I guess it's not some playback emulation thing...
I realize that not everything can be 100% reproduced 100% of the time from the originals, but I was just wondering what is happening in this particular case. Again, I'm still learning the ins and outs of this all, so I appreciate any input.
I can't help very much but I'll put this link here, just if you haven't seen it before:

Forum member rainwarrior developed that tool long ago but it's not in development anymore, but perhaps the information on the wiki can let you know about your issue.
Ahhh, I figured it out. For some reason the import was placing H00 on each note, so the vibrato effect was just not working. I simply disabled the FX column that all those extra H00 bits were placed, and all fixed....
strange... well, I guess that's something to look out for in future nsf imports...
