Well, I was tweaking a song a few minutes ago and I tried copying something so I could paste it somewhere else. I think I did something wrong and now FamiTracker refuses to letting me use the clipboard at all. I did the following:
-I selected a whole VRC7 channel, which I cut so I could then paste in anywhere else.
-I then switched to the order editor (this numeric thing which determines the patterns, in the top-left) and changed a pattern number.
-I accidentally pressed Ctrl+V while I was editing the number of a row, which pastes nothing in the order editor but I received a message from the tracker which reads "Cannot open clipboard", and now it doesn't let me do anything related to the clipboard, like copying, cutting and pasting.
I repeated the process and the same message appears when I try to cut or copy the pattern, but the curious thing is that if I use cut, the data from the patterns disappears after popping up this message, but it doesn't let me paste it anywhere else.
Not sure if this is a bug or I just did something wrong, but FamiTracker actually locked my usage of the clipboard in any other application while I had it opened, as I found out a few seconds ago.
Okay. If you need more details I could maybe try to give you some, in the case I remember exactly what I did. Thank you.
EDIT: I reproduced it with a blank module. I did basically the same as the last time, which was selecting a whole channel, copying, switching to the order editor, going to edit mode and then trying to paste in there. FamiTracker shows a message which reads "Clipboard data is not available" and then the clipboard gets locked for any other application until you close the program. You can check this if you go to Notepad, write text, attempt to copy and then paste in the same place, you'll get nothing.
