Mr_Master, from what I've seen, you're probably the best candidate for taking over leadership of this project, so don't hesitate to make anything you want. And anyone else can make whatever they want.
Black_M0on, fixed the volume control in your song. I don't know why this one is so loud, considering your previous songs were just right in the volume.
TEHMEGAMASTAH, good sound work so far, though I can definitely see quite a few wrong notes in your FTM (or was that on purpose?). I'll get to work on fixing those at some point.
Fezuke, your awesomeness is too high for our sakes. Please leave before we all explode of awesomeness over-*explodes* (But seriously, I'm worried about your health...)
EDIT: Fixed DEZ a bit. Also, if anyone could finish the file select theme for me, that would be very helpful. (The timings in that song are so hard to follow lol)

I want to do that song, the file select theme. For now I don't promise anything because next week is going to be terrible for me, I have a lot to do for college, but after I finish everything I'll try to come back and do something.
Fezuke, no need to apologize for asking me, it's just that I wanted you to know that I'm not perfect either. What I do in order to get the songs accurately is separating each channel of the songs into a WAV file using the in_vgm Winamp plugin. That's for me the easiest method for working on covers. Also, I know some of these songs pretty well so I can easily tell when something goes wrong. I can help you, there's no problem with that, just don't rely too much on me because I also have stuff to do in real life, though I'll try to give all of this stuff some work whenever I can.
poodlecock, I would take over the leadership of this, just let me think about it. Still, I would like you to come here once in a while in that case since you started this and it would be better if you are still around to see how everything is going, or if I do something wrong. I'll do my best if I get to manage this project!
I might have Desert Palace ready later, or perhaps in a few days. I'll also try to see what can be fixed in other tracks once I'm done.
Go ahead, but be warned as the song is very hard on the timing.
Also, have this new FBZ2 track, terrible volume control and all. (No triangle abuse at the moment, though...)

+ SEGA!
+ Sonic Retro (FlashingYoshi)
+ Sonic 3 Title & Invincibility
Fixes:
+ Death Egg 1 (instrument and volume fixes)
+ Flying Battery 2 (volume and note fixes)
+ Sandopolis 1 (drum timing)
- Removed Herobrine (you happy FlashingYoshi?)
Also, Mr_Master, you still want to do File Select?

I want but it'll have a big delay, because I have a lot to do this week, so if someone wants to work on it for the meantime, it's fine with me.
Desert Palace will also have to wait due to unexpected circumstances. I thought I was going to have a lot more spare time than I have now and everything is getting delayed from my part.
I apologize for any inconvenience, but I really didn't expect things to be like this now. I'll come back whenever I have some more spare time and I'll start working again on Desert Palace and perhaps the File Select theme, in case no one else is working on it at the moment.
I also thought about what you said, about taking over the leadership of the project, and I want to accept, as long as you manage things here along with me (something like a shared leadership). Once I have something new to contribute, I'll start managing the project and add other people's contributions to the main file, writing credits and adding my own tunes too. Just wait until next week and I'll get back to make new stuff.
Anyways, yeah, I'm gonna be busy for a while too. I totally understand. And I'm okay with however you want to do it. I mean, this is something we're doing with our spare time, is it not? =P Whenever you're ready, it's fine.

Since most of the songs that I like from S3&K have already been covered, I really REALLY want to do Chemical Plant Zone or Green Hill Zone (if Sonic 1 & 2 are accepted).
Otherwise I could do Sky Sanctuary or the S3&K version of the Invincibility thingy...
One more question, do these songs need to be accurate (that the song sounds exactly the same or very close to the original) or are you allowed to do almost anything as long as they sound good?

Warheart and za909, I don't know if it would be allowed to add songs from other Sonic games like 1 and 2, but I agree it would be really cool, though maybe doing so in a separate module would be better just so the current one doesn't grow too much.
Sky Sanctuary is being done by TEHMEGAMASTAH, so discard that option. About accuracy, I'm not sure either, but as long as the song can be easily recognized from the original, I think it would be okay.
Maybe you should wait for poodlecock's approval or perhaps working on those songs in separate modules if you really want to do them. No one stops you, so go ahead and hope it's awesome. Only thing, make sure you post telling what song you are working on, so no other people start working on the same song as you.
EDIT: I want to make clear the fact that poodlecock said that any contribution is welcome, a few pages back. It mainly refers to S3K but I think that doing stuff from the other Sonic games would be awesome, as long as the main scope of this project isn't completely deviated, which is to achieve covering the whole S3K soundtrack. That's also a reason to make songs from other games in separate modules.
Allrightythen,
I've been working on the Invicibility theme that Sonic & Knuckles uses. Remember, it's still WIP, so there's some notes missing (some notes are probably even wrong). But I think that I've used at least some correct instruments...

+1. If there's anything that I don't accept, do this.
Actually, I was thinking of using TEHMEGAMASTAH's version as an "Act 2" version as it's not very accurate to the original and my aim is to be as accurate as possible. I welcome such reworkings of the original themes, but they should be labelled "Act 3/4" or something to separate them from the accurate covers of act 1/2. So yeah, Warheart, I welcome a second cover of Sky Sanctuary. (Favorite theme in S&K next to Lava Reef and Flying Battery.) To anyone else, remixes are fine as long as you label them "Act 3/4" so that accurate covers (the main goal) can be done as well. I don't want to exclude anyone unless if they're purposefully dragging us down.
I was thinking of doing Sonic 2 as well (tbh I always preferred the Sonic 2 drumset, but Sonic 3's drums are nice too), but the thing is that S3&K is already a huge soundtrack. Still, it's not like you guys were even gonna do any S3&K covers, and I don't see any other problems. Would you guys like a VRC7 project as here or use a different chip (or none at all)? I have Chemical Plant Zone and the Title in VRC7 and Hill Top, Emerald Hill, and the Ending theme in 2A03. Also guys, just to make it clear, I welcome a Sonic 2 project, but it will have to be in a separate module as Famitracker can only have a limited number of DPCM samples. (Also, if this goes and we run out of room then we're gonna squeeze in a few Sonic 3 songs in there as well. =P)
And guys, to make an official statement on 9001 BPM songs (I know nobody cares but I just want to get this off my chest), they offer more flexibility in covers but they also demand more time. I make tracks both ways Angel Island, Sonic 3 Title, Icecap 1 (I don't intend to do 2 myself) and File Select (WIP, lol) are all 900 BPM tracks, but Sonic 3 Invincibility and Carnival Night (GEN) will probably be conventionally tracked due to tempo problems, and if I get to it, Endless Mine will also be conventionally tracked because now I'm busy and only have time to do this kind of tracking. Actually, I'm not sure how to do Carnival Night. On one hand, the tempo's really hard to match to the original Genesis game, but on the other, there are some things that beg to be done in 900 BPM.
EDIT: Sonic 1 will also be in the Sonic 2 module if this goes. Also, dammit why did I say 9001 BPM
