Do you know what you just did? You made me love a song which I hated with my soul.
Great work on this! Only complaint, tempo is weird as hell but understandable since you are working at low speeds. Unfortunately, I'm terrible at making tempo sequences so I can't help much.
Well, if you want to work on other tracks, let us know. You have done great so far.
Don't worry! Take all the time you need to work on it. I won't start right now with Mushroom Hill 2, for instance, but I'll sure have it ready soon.
You do that too, always remember that what we are doing is not an obligation by any means. Relax, take your time, give it a rest if you need to. I don't think we need the thing within a time limit, so just go at your own pace and do things as it suits you best. Good luck!
Hmm there still seems to be an inaccurate section in my Mushroom Hill 1 cover. Fm channels 1 and 2 should use Patch 1 (Instrument 06) for the rest of Frame 05 starting from row 31 and not the cutom lead patch.
I suppose this came up when my songs got put in the module and the instruemnts got all changed up.
I'll check that out and let you know. Also, I have to update the credits because I forgot to add myself for Lava Reef 1 (how can you forget yourself?).
EDIT: Here, I hope it's corrected now. I have to say that at some point, I added a bass section in FM channel 6, at the end of some frames. I thought the thing was incomplete so that's why I added that. Let me know if you want it to be modified.
There's a complication when it comes to updating the credits, and it's that they must be updated for each part when they are modified. Once the project is finished, I plan to add the song list to the comments, along with the credits.
I'll go check out Chrome Gadget to track the changes that were done to the song when it got imported into the project file. If anyone sees any errors of some sort in any song, let us know.
EDIT2: The main changes I found in Chrome Gadget are the DPCM samples, the use of noise to boost these samples, some volume changes, the bass patch (the song in this project uses patch #13 for bass, instead of #2 as it originally was) and the use of triangle channel for bass support.
If Linker2A03 requests changes to the song, then I shall do so. For now, I'll leave it like that.
Instrument 29 sounds better but its only problem is that it's now quieter in every song.
Fezuke's Death Egg sounds better with it, in my opinion, but there's always the chance that you can make other songs sound worse, because that patch is shared by many songs (I never imagined people were going to use my patch so much). You did good with it, but be aware of this when you need to change the settings of a patch that's shared along songs.
Your new song sounds pretty good, I like it. Keep it up dude, you have done great so far!
[Mushroom Hill may have to wait a lot because of two things: I'm a little exhausted and want to rest for a while, and I hate the song right away. It's kinda hard to believe, but yeah, I don't love the whole OST as much as others do!]
I still want to cover the song, but if I regret or there are other problems, I'll leave it there for someone else to cover it.

I don't think so at all. And also, if I would have known people would do whatever they want on my covers like this, I would have never covered them in the first place. Besides wrong notes/timing, you people shouldn't be playing around with the instruments/sounds like that. It's kinda irritating.
Okay, I understand. If you need anything reverted to its original state, let me know.
EDIT: I'll make this clear: Most of the songs had little to big changes since they were originally posted here. The intention of modifying them is to make them sound "better", in terms of bass, percussion or some instruments or volume control. I know sometimes the results aren't the best, but if anyone wants their songs to be kept as they originally posted them, then it's okay, just make it clear when you post.
I apologize if anyone feels their songs have been tweaked too much from their original structures.
Bl4ck_M0on, next time you need to change an instrument, you should better create a new one and replace it in the songs needed, providing they are your own, so we can avoid problems like this to happen again.

Okay I'm fine with that. And sorry for that again.

We all go wrong at a point. Sometimes it's best to screw up things once in order to learn, but make sure you don't do this again, okay? I know your intentions were the best, but you did wrong this time.
I'll post a version later with the instruments reverted to what they were before your edit, along with your new song.
EDIT: Your contribution would be awesome! Yeah, you cover the song in the latest template module and once you finish it, you post it here and it will be added to the respective module (part one in this case). When you do so, please make clear if you allow for changes to be done to your song.
Also, Bl4ck_M0on, I accept your apologies. No need to say more. I'm ending this discussion here so we can focus on the actual project, though I'll still wait for people to tell if they want the changes reverted.
