I'm developing a Megaman fan game and I need a composer who is well versed with FamiTracker or a similar program to make music for the game. It's a non-profit game. Contact me if you are interested and serious about contributing.
Some other places I've tried to conquer:
Another thing; Aren't fan games illegal? Wouldn't capcom slap a cease and desist on you?
Capcom has been known for its leniency on fan games(or any fan content). In fact, I'm not sure how aware you are of Street Fighter X Mega Man, but that started out as a fan project. A project, that Capcom decided to fund, and be a part of, by giving the guy some needed help, in order for the game to be released on schedule. But at its core, it's a fan game, through and through(Capcom's not doing anything else with Mega Man, anyway). If a cease and desist went through the execs at Capcom, then newly released Mega Man Unlimited, Rockman DASH 3 8-bit prototype, Mega Man Revolution, and countless other fan games to be made, such as Mega Man X: Corruption, would cease to exist this very moment.
I would like to know more about this fan game, though. If I contribute anything, it will not be in the widely-used(over-used?) Mega Man 2/9 music style, but rather the early '90s Capcom style. Mostly(and I mean MOSTLY), Mega Man 3, with a touch of 4,5,6, and other Capcom games from around that time(examples: Disney Capcom, Little Nemo).

Just another mention about fan games, CheesGuy99, Have you seen Rockman 7 FC, and Rockman 8 FC? They've been around for a few years, now. Capcom doesn't really care so much.
However, as you were saying, they have every right to stop this fan game(and others) dead in its tracks. If that happens, there's nothing you can do about it.

Wow, silly me thought I had the e-mail notification on for replies to the post and that nobody had answered it. I posted this to a lot of forums so I did not plan on checking them manually.
"However, Capcom Senior Vice President Christian Svennson has stated that, while they legally can't sanction fangames, they won't proactively go after them either"
The quote is from here
but is actually quite misquoted if you go the actual source: here
In any case it would seem extremely unlikely that Capcom would shut my game down. There are A LOT of MM fan games out there and I've never heard of a such game being shut down. Like another poster said, Capcom doesn't give a flying crap about Mega Man anymore anyway.
My game is very late in the process. Graphics, stages, sound effects, menues, everything has been done except for the music. Here is a good page for a summary: click.
I would welcome your help Linker. I realize your post was made a short while back so check out the above link and contact me if you are still interested. I really don't like the MM5-6 music style, MM3 would work out fine even though MM1 style is what I have in mind. Now to turn the e-mail notification on!
