i've heard lots of covers of this song, but this one is one of the best. i just have a feeling there's not enough bass.

I feel lots of bass actually, and I think that tri+namco wave was enough for it. Still, I agree this is the best cover I have heard of this song. Only problem is that DPCM is too quiet, but noise is alright.

[Am I a weird person if the 8 channel Namco hiss doesn't hurt my ears or even bother me?]

I've gotten used to the hiss after listening to so much stuff on my N163 cart.

Great stuff moviemovies1. I'm not super familiar with the original but I enjoyed this cover.

I felt the bass wasn't low enough. Otherwise, I like this cover.

Another cover UNOWH?. It says for itself.
By the way, this one is more accurate than any other. And sounds much better.

When I saw the thread title, I was like "ugh, haven't we heard enough of these already?" Then I look at the name of the person who covered it, listened to it, loved it, and saved into my "covers that I liked" folder.

So you keep a "Covers that I don't like" folder? :p

Then why name your folder "Covers that I like" instead of just "Covers"? :p

To differentiate between his covers and other covers? My Powerpak has "Mine", "Forum", and "Misc", and "Games" NSF subfolders, for example.

Actually, I lied, I don't have a folder for covers. I should get to organizing my Famitracker folder, however. Make folders for covers I made, covers others have made, originals I've made, and stuff I probably won't bother finishing.

I keep a folder named "Stuff that's not mine" in the latest version's folder (yeah, I'm a FT versions collector). There I usually save modules I liked, despite them being covers or originals. I keep my covers in the main folder, along with the executable, a "Split" folder, where there are VGMs with WAVs for each channel, and a proper "Garbage can" where I put garbage (doodles, tests, unworthy originals, stuff that will never see the daylight), and inside that one there's an "Absolute garbage" folder where there's terrible stuff. There's more but no need from me to get more off-topic than I just did.

A bit more on topic (not really), I downloaded Touhou 6 a while ago and found the soundtrack inside, but I can't figure out what those SFK files are. Does anyone know how can I open them? I actually would like to cover one of these songs myself.
