"The Four Stone Benches" was originally intended to be a three-channel classical entry for Famicompo Mini 10, but I reconsidered submitting it due to its length. I'll leave it here instead. I also attached a new version of "San's Deli" with parts of the noise channel attenuated; this seems better suited to version 0.4.2 of Famitracker.
My god this sounds amazing. The only reason I can think of for being happy that you didn't submit it to Famicompo is that at least I won't lose as hard, hahahahaha.
There's a history of extremely long (legitimate) Famicompo entries. This one isn't nearly as long as them! I'd highly recommend submitting it to FCM10 anyway if length was your only concern. Great work.

In fact, submit both. Although entries are supposed to be anonymous, It doesn't stop people from submitting songs they've already released. Also, since this IS the last Famicompo Mini, there's never been a more opportune time to spread your music around.

This is sort of what I've been wondering. All we need is a nearly incorruptible group of people (or perhaps even one person, as was with the true Famicompo it seems?) to judge/sort every song and compile them as was done in the previous compos. And then upload them here somehow. Shouldn't be too crazy to do, right? If worst comes to worst, they can just be uploaded to youtube or some music site.
Very excited to listen to the new stuff. Until then, could you clarify that the only changes you made to Sans Deli were technical? I'm so intimately familiar with it that it would be a bit of a shock if anything else were changed.

Same here. My girlfriend loves it (but I had to clarify something pretty big about it) I'm also trying to learn it (or it's most significant channels) on the piano. It's just meant for that, really. As far as I can here the changes are only very minor and are to the noise channel, as stated in the OP.

While listening to Four Bridges I was wondering if it wasn't a composition more suited to the piano unlike Sans Deli which I actually feel is at home with its native instruments. But after about the third or fourth listen I dismissed that notion as well.
However, as Gould showed us, with the right mind, any great work can be expressed through the piano. I'd be very interested to hear your interpretation of it if you were willing after you master it.

As for the songs, they're both quite good. And since I was bored, added DPCM drums to San's Deli.
