1: Bare Knuckle 2 - Boss

2: Gradius III: Prelude Of Legend - five songs

All using the VRC6 expansion chip.

All in FTM format.

Tickle your ears...

UPDATE: I had forgotten a couple things:
A: The Gradius III arrangements are the Arcade ones, not the SNES ones (which imho are a bit better)

B: I forgot to add instrument definitions to Try To Star, but it's better now.

C: Bare Knuckle 2 - Boss has been corrected.

Edit: Shiru brought up some valid misnomers on my part, so they are now corrected here as well as posted. Also updated the links below on this post.

I find it easier to use VRC6 rather than just the 2A03, and I think that it sounds cooler. ^-^

Glad you like it, Crackman! (^-^ )b

This is awesome! Good use of the VRC6, as CracKman said. I've never heard the original songs, but I'll bet they sound similar.

I didn't liked the saw bass. And the drums almost completely muted the triangle channel, so most of low frequency comes from drums. I'd make some volume tweaks, lowering all channels volume to make triangle louder.

Hmmm... That would explain a few things...

The saw bass could get annoying, and I would've liked the bass to be a bit bassier...

Partially why I came on this site is to get honest criticism, and that has been achieved.

I'll give it a go, Shiru! Thanks! ^-^

Right. I have finished making said corrections to both FTMs and all that .

These should sound dramatically better now.

Maybe its because of my stereo(subwoofer), but now it seems that the melody is just a little too low in volume now. That's probably why, though. It's still good, though. Also, I didn't even know there were other songs on the Gradius III one.
