Currently the NES channels map according to the MIDI channels, however with the N163, and VRC-VII expansion chips, the fifth channel always mapped to channel 10 (percussion) like the NES noise channel. This feature would allow users to not only rectify this error, but also direct which channels (NES) map to their corresponding MIDI counterparts.

Now, the current mapping for PU1, PU2, Noise, DPCM and Namco 5 is 1, 2, 10, (?) (still a percussion channel), 10.

Remap: 1, 2, 10, 3 (if tonal DPCM used), 4.

Pulses 1, 2 and noise retain their mapping, but the DPCM has been remapped to a tonal channel, as has the N163's problematic channel.

It's bugging me reaaaaally.
I just want to Midify a N163 song and then I hear Namco 5 as Midi chn 10. also the Volume commands are accepted at only one note, if a new note triggers the volume command gets forgotten from the previous note. Also the pitch slide, vibrato and anyother effect doesnt care for midi :/
Would be cool that the effects and vol commands etc will be accepted.
