I was wondering if an of you use an external (piano) keyboard or MIDI to write music in famitracker. I've been researching electronic keyboards / midi controllers that allow you to assign piano strokes to specific keystrokes so that a "C" on my piano keyboard would corespond with a "Z" hit on the keyboard. I figured that this would make my life 100 times easier when writing tunes. I actually came across an MPK mini, but can't seem to get it to work with Famitracker directly.
If anyone has any suggestions for cheaper electronic (piano) keyboards that let you reassign keystrokes, I would appreciate it. All I'm really looking for is to use the piano keyboard to make music. Thanks in advance!!!
This is the one I use . It's pretty good and relatively cheap.

yes actually, although it's already "C-Z, D-X, E-C, etc." by default anyway.

Oh awesome. I'll probably pick it up then. Like I said, I came across an MPK Mini, but unfortunately I can't find anything that will allow me to set the key bidings myself. It works in FL Studio fine, and even does the C-Z, D-X, etc. itself. I guess I can't just tell the MPK Mini to do that outside of FL Studio.
