hi. thought i'd post my first longer .ftms.

Chronologically:

bla3b was just me throwing all sorts of crap together while learning the program.

roka1 is a bit more cohesive, but not really finished. it gets terribly sugarcoated near the end, and i just decided to kill it off.

arid sands is a vrc6 rendition of a secret of mana tune.

enjoy

bla3b shows small bug in the channel 2, first pattern - square instead on number of octave.

I liked guitar harmonics imitation in triangle channel, and technique in general.

Very good tunes, I like alot!
Sometimes the noise channel just doesn't help the snare sound as it should, because the DPCM cannot reproduce hi frequency components, and the noise can really help in this way to improve snare samples... But I see in your tunes great qualities of a good chiptuner: nice sounding melody and instruments, right use of effects and above all an excellent ability to 'bypass' the chip limitations... Bravo!

Thanks!

I have to learn to use the DPCM to full effect, my previous chiptune stuff was mostly done in nanoloop.
Shnabubula showed me some of the crazy stuff that can be done with it, like Strobe. Can't wait to get into that.

Shiru: the 'bug' was a noob workaround to mute the channel
I did that with volume control later on, but i still haven't found out how to do that bar that stops the note currently played.

Note stop is 1 by default, you can change it to any other key in the Configuration dialogue, 'Note cut'.
