It's just a contest to see who can create the most elaborate interpretation of the medieval German Crusader song Palästinalied (so I don't want any stupid "kill kebab" memes or any happy merchants invading this thread).
There are absolutely no restrictions for this contest (other than no multi-expansion FTMs); you can use whatever expansion chip you want & as many instruments/effects/samples you want. All I'm looking for is the most pleasing interpretation of this song.
Check out the attachment if you're interested in hearing how the basic tune sounds (or if you want the most basic template possible). Also, look up these links if you want inspiration:
First prize is one chance to ask me for a major-league favour (like finding something that's been eluding you for ages,) along with the full OST to Kingdom Of Heaven. Second prize is a VMware virtual machine of Windows XP with preconfigured software, along with the full OST to Kingdom Of Heaven. Third prize will ne a VMware virtual machine running Windows 95 & MS-BOB (either deal with it or tell me of a better prize scheme).

Of course! As Slimeball pointed out, people are already up to their necks with Famicompo, especially with the 20 NSF per entrant cap. I don't think now is a good time for any NSF community to hold a contest in parallel!

Sure thing; I'll keep this in mind for the future (if I decide to post another compo). Mind you, I didn't really anticipate that the entire FamiTracker community would be involved in FamiCompo. It's all cool, though; I have no due date for this & can wait till it's over.
