I'm submitting this nsf in the next famicompo, but a couple of the tracks don't play corectly. If anyone can help, it would be really appreciated.

The same thing happened to me. I don't think this will work, but try changing the default playing program to Windows Media Player. (Right-click file; open with)

I cannot begin to explain why this is the worst piece of advice ever.

I don't think anyone's gonna want to help unless you can be more specific, as in which tracks, what expansion is used, which player are you using, etc.

The second and fourth tracks are the ones that don't play correctly, I'm using nezplug, and all but the first track is 2a03. The first one is vrc6.

Looks like a Famitracker NSF export bug. The "G-3" DPCM sample seems to cause the song speed to change when it's played.

Yikes, that's really messed up. I tested it out of nsflive for comparison and got 'CPU Error: invalid instruction' five seconds into track 4.

It definitely sounds like the nsf didn't write properly. Unfortunately, I don't know what options that leaves you with. :/

Famicompo songs are supposed to be anonymous so posting it in the public is a bad idea. You can use my e-mail address too if you need help.

This bug will be corrected in the next version which is supposed to be out soon, but I still need to do a few other minor fixes first.

Yeah, that wasn't my best idea. But I found out that the g3, g#3, and a3 dpcm notes are the problems. I'm going to see if changing the order of the samples will fix it.

If that doesn't work, you can probably hex edit the FTM so it can open in an older version of Famitracker.

Actually, I don't believe that works in 0.4.2 anymore.

Yeah, it's a bit harder than just changing a couple bytes. I'm sure it could still be done though.

I believe that everything is actually stored in a different format now than it was before, rather than just a few additions. So it will take more than just the few bytes at the beginning like it used to.

The reason forcing backward compatibility on 0.4.2 FTMs is more difficult is because of the addition of the Delta-Counter level field in the DPCM tab of 2A03 instruments.
