Can someone please tell me why the hell some of my projects come up blank with an error message that says "couldn't load file properly"? I was working on a big project and saved it in two places just in case one of them got messed up since I lost data from this same error message before. [u]Both[/u] files are giving me this message, even the one that I haven't opened for the past hour. I'd really appreciate any help with this

Which version of FamiTracker are you using? Also, are you using an expansion chip (and if so, which one)?

Additionally, what is your operating system?

version 0.2.7, no expansion chip, and windows XP...

I had the same thing happen to me once and that was because I tried opening a file made using the most recent version in a older version. Are you sure you haven't launched an older version of Famitracker by mistake? Try downloading the newest release and overwrite the exe if you're not sure.
