No, you can submit covers too. Google translate previous compos to get the gist of how it runs. Some rules may change so ya might wanna wait until after the pages are no longer "under construction"

Covers are allowed, but expect to see some heavy competition, so your covers have to be unique and amazing! Well, that goes to original songs as well.

Wait, I think I have read the rules before but I don't remember a thing so I'll translate them again. As I see it will start in June 1st, so I might enter. However, I will probably not do anything original so that's a minus. Also, if expansions are not allowed then I might figure at the end of the results list (and it would be worse if there's no DPCM).

Well, I'll still see what I can do about it. Thanks guys.

EDIT: I have used the translator to see what the rules for FamiCompo 8 and 9 said, and looks like expansions are allowed. I think I can have better hopes now (as long as rules don't change for this one!).
