I would except it only seems to really kick in when I'm putting off something I should be doing instead. Pretty much all my music is the result of chronic procrastination (and occasionally chronic).

I'm the same though. If you go to my soundcloud you'll see that 99% of my stuff is exactly that. And I've got dozens more abandoned tracks on my hard disk.
I think I'm getting better though and that means I like the stuff I'm making more which at least once has translated into actually finishing a song.

I know that feeling all too well. The better I'm getting the more fun it is. before getting into this I was doing remixes and original tunes in FL,(still am but quite a bit less than tracking.)
