Hi,
this is my simple cover of Dance it Out from Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier. My friend found out that I've started to learn FamiTracker and requested this song. This is my sixth cover altogether and the first one to use the dpcm channel. I had such fun with the delta counter, which I don't quite understand even now, but at least I've tried to somehow limit the volume fluctuations of noise and
triangle channels.

I have to say, for your first major SoyW post (as long as we're not counting short tunes and loops), there is a very impressive cover.

This is fine and dandy, but there's something I don't believe...THIS is your sixth cover? This can't be your sixth cover--this is something my 12th (before finding the forums, of course) sounded like! You're obviously skilled...perhaps joining the forces of evil is a good idea?

Oh, and NG1 Jacquio is nice, but...there's this.
Your icon has contest, good sir!

Thank you for your kind words. However... Ze dark forces are chaotic, 'ence my skill is très random!
It is quite possible, that my 24th cover will be worse than your 1st one. Only time will tell... ha ha ha! ... ha!
Seriously, I am glad you appreciated this little piece.
I consider myself to be a traditionalist and my general goal would be to make original NES-like music. Perhaps adding new tunes to existing game soundtracks (Castlevania and so on...).

That would exlplain the 2A03 limitation. I just abuse each and every channel I can, though my preference has always been the VRC6 Chip. I've worked with the N163 chip and had some good success, but I like the more 8-bit sounding chip--as well as the least buggy.

It sounds like a good goal you've set. I've always wanted to bring 8-bit back, but when I discovered the VRC6 chip via Akumajou Densetsu, I metaphorically fell in love. I want to expand the knowledge to others that 8-bit doesn't have to be as empty as many thought! I mean, I've already begun working on Spiral Mountain and even though I literally have 5 frames done (I'm taking my time through the BK Soundtrack), it already sounds perfect up to that point...but it took a couple years worth in experience to get to my skill level. The way you handled this file, you seem to be at my 9 month point (getting the real hang of it).
