Thank you. And thanks to you in first place, you did a pretty good job. Next time just keep tempo at 150 and use speed instead.
When i heard your cover, that "beach" song just came into my head instantly. And you know what, that melody fits the bassline perfectly!
You know... I think that whole "odd arpeggio sequence that still somehow sounds VERY right" thing is going to be your Famitracker "signature technique". Almost everyone here has one (I like to think that mine is using 1 sole instrument, but squeezing a buttload of effects in just the first effect column)

I checked the song. It has an awesome vibe. Arps don't sound bad actually, and SunSoft bass makes it cool. The melodies sound fine, the arps give a nice sound, and overall it's very clean.
About signature technique, it's cool that everyone has its own one. Mine, as I think, is using few instruments and punching in lots of Axy effects when needed to halt notes or use fade-ins.
I want to see more of your work, so please show us more of this coolness when you can!
Some of your really neat embellishments on the lead in the last two frames sounded off.
For frame 06, I bumped the B-4 in row 0F to a C-5 and it sounds better to me, especially in relation to the A#4 on row 15. I also changed the F#4 in row 35 to a G-4, although I'm not too confident in this change.
In frame 07, I made the same change on 0F as in 06.

Does it sound better or worse to you guys?
wtf? what version did you do the edits in? because im using the namco-modified 4.2 now and it says "file created with never famitracker".
if youre using the sunsoft5b 4.3 beta version, please dont.
What are you talking about!? As far as I know, the 5B build doesn't change the version number, but if you say a new beta is out, that's neat. Oh hey! First check you are using 0.4.2 and if problems persist, maybe something's wrong.

im sure that im using the 4.2 modified version but i also found out that the 4.2 and its modified counterpart dont know that they are same version, so both detect each others modules as a newer version of famitracker. and yes, there is a new beta out if im right

here's how i'd do the single channel echo if it were necessary
sounds better than the other one suggested on page 1 but i think im still gonna stick with how i first made it.
I'm using 0.4.2 from the downloads page. I just redownloaded it now and the ftm's working fine on my computer. I guess the namco-modified version is incompatible with the vanilla Famitracker...
I'm at school right now, so if I remember to, I can redo the edits on the namco-modded version at home, or you could just do the changes yourself. They're pretty minor and I described all the changes in my post.

Sorry about the compatibility problems, dude.
checked them out. even though the changed notes dont sound like the original, oddly enough the first one works quite well. the other one... not so much.
