1. Set everything back to my initial MMC5/one-instrument style
2. Concentrated on the main tune (will add the drums later using my own samples)

Personally I feel like rotating through the V00 command that much loses a bit of the melody in the pulse 1 and 2 channels, but hey man if that's the way you like it, more power to ya, it's your boss theme after all =]
I'd love to hear it with drums just to flesh it out a little more.
Actually, it's the volume of the 2 pulse channels coupled with the duty alternation that loses its melody, so I've change that up a bit (though I do like the polyphony caused by the alternating duty cycles). It will definitely need some rethinking unless my increasing the pulse channels' volume works out.
Anyways, I hope the drums I've added aren't too excessive here. They might be, though, because of the volume levels I'm using in the noise channel coupled with my Zxx effects in the DPCM channel.

Mind you, blank, single-instrument songs aren't anything new on this forum (a former member named nicetas_c/hertzdevil used to do tons of originals & covers with only a single blank instrument).
Besides, everything that can be done using instrument settings can also be done with raw effect commands; the only problem is that doing so limits your abilities to addmore effects or override others. You can have multiple instruments for multiple different effects, while using the effect commands to override any instrument's settings.
