Great job! I could almost hear the original playing alongside this. Also, NICE DPCM!

This reminds me a lot of the original song. Great job!

I'm surprised at how you improved. Note for note & harmonically, this is a great cover. I'd say it's even worthy of FamiCompo if there's a 2A03 Covers section.

Mind you, my only gripe with this is the fact that you use note stops instead of fading the volume with the Axx effect (the Axx effect can help you make it sound more like the original & more dynamic; it currently sounds like you have a bit too much stacatto).

Was bored, so I edited the rhythm section some and tilted/edited the samples (which led me to adjusting the noise envelopes, to not great effect). Also moved the note cut before the solo.

The real challenge is listening to this without hearing the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FklUAoZ6KxY]Weird Al lyrics in your head.
Or the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vU68F-0G5os]All Your Base lyrics.

Note wise it's very good, but I find that your rendition lacks sustain in a lot of parts. Let fade away longer on frames 03 and 04 on Pulse 1.

Personally I would have used the MMC5 expansion so I could keep using power chords throughout the whole song.

Good job though.

And YES, we miss you Kurt.

I always wondered how Nirvana's songs would sound under NES/Famicom hardware. You did justice with providing that and this song is just perfect with the tones (As well as the rock DCPM samples) Now you got me singing the lyrics along with this tune~ XD

Forever Kurt Cobain \m/

Edit: Perhaps we could hear 'Come As You Are' soon enough One of my favorite songs from Nirvana.

Put Kurt's voice to a hot heroin stem for a while.

LOL for a second I thought you imported his voice into DPCM. =P

Also, the voice instrument sounds even more raspy now.

Note Stop? Jesus, I nearly forgot they existed with all the volume control I'm used to.

But yeah, a fade is typically more effective than a complete stop
