Yesterday after an important and stressful job interview I had to immediately distract myself so I opened FamiTracker and started laying down a track. This is what that's turned into. Still a work in progress but I wanted to get some feedback on possible directions to take it.
I also dreamed that I listened to the new Anamanaguchi album. First track was good, second track not so much.
Please finish a track at least once! Please. Just once.....
Seriously do0d, you've got all it takes to write some really great tracks, but you always stop and move on to another track before completing one. I like every loop you track, but i'm so deceived at how short and unfinished they always end up being.
I don't know why it's so common to post WIP's on this forum. It annoys me most of the time. Especially when it's updated 50 times and by the time it's actually completed, I can't stand the track anymore and don't even bother listening to the completed version almost ALL the time.
Wow, sorry for my ranting, What I really meant to say is that I like what you do, and I want you to keep tracking, and to FINISH your tunes PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds nice. The sawtooth might be a little loud, but that's not a big problem up to now.
EDIT: It also bothers me that people post WIPs so often. That gives me the feeling it's not going to be ready soon or it will just not be finished. Still, this track is nice.

I feel you! I guess I tend to go into polish mode early and end up listening to the same short loop so many times that it becomes hard to break out of that and forge ahead, which is why I posted this: to hopefully get some feedback that will help me break out of the loop.
I also don't have a good innate understanding of music structure BUT ENOUGH EXCUSES! I think with your... uh... encouragement, this will be the first track I ACTUALLY FINISH!
Yeah i'm sorry, that was horribly put encouragement there.
I just want you to succeed.
No worries, you tell it straight and I can't fault that.
Also, just for you, I'm not going to update this until the track is done so you won't get sick of listening to 50 slightly different versions in the mean time.
BTW that track you just posted is fucking great and I love what you do with the noise channel. Might have to "borrow" some of that...
Borrow all you want, my good man. It's fairly easy; mash the keyboard for notes, and then mash it again for effects!
