Slimeball, if you want to make Mega Drive tunes in something like Famitracker, try Deflemask. It's really really good!

Hmm... How about.... .flp sources or even MIDI files? :P

I don't like Deflemask's interface. It's too oldschool for me. I can only get around with easy windows trackers like famitracker/modplug. ;(

I'm actually just sort of making new levels and redoing Sonic 1 in my own way, kind of remaking Thrash in a way... I feel stupid for wanting to do it, but hey, I still have the urge to dabble with coding and such, lol

I'm not a huge Metallica fan (when it comes to thrash metal, I prefer Slayer :P), but I do like their old stuff very much and Dyers Eve is definitely one of my favorite Metallica songs, and your cover is just pure awesome! Thanks for showing this! :D

Much appreciated! Took a couple days to get the arrangement done, adding my own little flourishes here and there and all. =P

I'll probably handle Raining Blood in the coming days, it's been stuck in my head, so yeah...

If you're having a hard time using MilkyTracker, try using OpenMPT. It has a more modern interface and is a lot easier to use.

Also, what's VOPM XD?

VOPM is a VST plugin that emulates the Genesis Sound Chip, and you can get OPL files from different Genesis games to use their instruments.
