Remember a long time ago when you put NSFlive on 2a03.org? Is there a way that you can put that in your downloads section?... it was just so useful to me that it wouldn't seem fair if no one else knew about it :3.

Thanks,

I had no plans for further development, but since it became quite popular I might just do something about it.
If so then I'm gonna make it available for download somewhere.

But other players are better for just playing NSF's as it is now. (Except for the dmc ripping feature possibly.)

We'll see... =)

No plans for futher development? Eh, I have no complaints... all in all, it's a god of a nsf player. It plays .nsf's, and it rips .dmc's... probably the only thing I'd recommend for it is maybe a "channel reader" that can tell what notes are in each channel, how the noise channel is set up, etc. If that is implemented in the player, then it would not only rip dmc's, but in a sense give the user the ability to "rip" the instruments from each channel.

Oooh, and since there's now an import-instrument option, maybe the NSFlive can make equivilents into famitracker-importable instruments, designed off of those channel reads.

Would that be a good idea, in between FamiTracker updates, of course :3. If not, you can just put the original on for download somewhere (perferabley here, maybe in another column in the downloads section).

NSFLive is actully quite more useful then the other NSFPlayers we know.
I mean we can have a view at the memory!
It can also tell if the CPU has crashed.
Other NSFPlayers are trying to get though it but stuck then.
I think NSFLive should be continued!

Wow, necrobump. I'll go ahead and post a link to the latest version before this is locked:

NSFPlay has a memory view, FamiPunk221.

Eventually I will add a diagnostic mode which might help detect crashes, but that's not ready yet, though in general the NES keeps running no matter what unless it hits one of very few invalid opcodes that actually halt the CPU.
