Combining somber aeolian arps with funky temco bass? Sure why not.
edit: transcribed to VRC6 and it's much sharper. saw bass in the best bass.
edit2: screw natural minor. dorian is where it's at!
edit3: I'm tweakin'
edit4: oh yeah
edit5: gettin' electric
edit6: melodic tweaks
edit7: made a thread http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=4601

yes good
although you don't need to put H00 on every note
that's executing a hardware sweep-up which doesn't actually have any values i.e. it does nothing
also posting something i posted here a while ago to something of a hostile response and it's not that long so here ya go.
oh yeah lol.ftm is an ohc entry of mine where i was experimenting with idk tritones and then wham prog rock (ish???) thing WITH WALTZ [please comment on this i am hoping to pursue this sort of songwriting style]

I didn't add any vibratos or slides yet, as I'm not sure if I'm even going to finish it. But hey w/e it's cool. The odd times were a pain to figure out.

Liked it...sounds more like something you'd play with a band than write in a tracker. Lots of "bar" chords.
The first two patterns I can give or take though.

Famous elevator theme from System Shock. It's my first VRC6 attempt, I hope it doesn't sound too horrible.

Sounds pretty good to me. Though I think some light Pxx commands would help give things more room to breath. Check the file I just posted to see what I'm talking about.

Started something. Liked it. Got stuck. Any advice please?
(Btw, I'm keeping with 2A03 until I can start to really squeeze it)

I like this! Just a little tip, if you have an echo, make it a little quieter, as otherwise, the lead will sound a little louder.
I took the liberty of fixing some stuff and adding things here and there (mostly to do with the Triangle and drums.)
Btw, "state_of_mind_edit" keeps the drums you had, for the most part. The other file's got new drums that I've made.

I forget the title of this, but I felt like making a quick cover of it for the 5B. Sadly, no envelope or noise usage.

Just dropping by to upload some stuff that I've been working on recently. I'm still planning to finish them, but you can mess with these as you wish.
