Well, Venus was nice too, and looks like I forgot to mention about the other tracks too, so sorry about that. Clash Man feels weird without the noise channel, but it's a WIP, so yeah, and MMII Hard Man sounds very good too. If I know right, the GameBoy is slightly detuned up in comparison with the NES, so good use of the P81 effects too.
QUESTION: What makes the Noise channel sound different across the different rows in Fire Man, even if it's playing the same notes with same settings?
No. I mean that its tone changes although no new settings are applied. From what I know, it's because the noise is generated randomly, but it still follows a pattern. That's what I meant.
Using the white noise sequence, you always get the same result every time, since it's a set pattern that loops after a while (you can notice small clicks, especially at the higher frequencies) and when you switch to periodic mode, the produced timbre depends on where exactly the generator was in the sequence when you switched.
The timbre will not change as long as the mode is not switched back to white noise, then the entire sequence is looped again. That's why the same frequencies produce different sounds in Quickman's theme.
I was unhappy with some of my Mega Man 5 instruments, so I spent a couple of days with improving these instruments. Mega Man 5 is one of my favorite games of all time, so expect to see me using these instruments (maybe everywhere)...

I liked Star Man. The progression at the beginning is cool. For all Megaman 5 songs I can say they are very good. Hornet Man... Well, I listened to that one some time ago and it's also good. Mega Overrated 2 was also good but there was a pitch bend in Flash Man that wasn't in the original and it was hard for me to actually think it sounds pleasant.
Overall it's pretty nice and I hope you make lots of songs to add to these!
I will always love you if you make Air Man's Stage.
Actually, I did a swing version of Air Man when I was learning how to use Famitracker. It sucks though (wrong notes and the percussion is boring), but I think I should take a look at it when I've finished my other stuff that I'm working on.
