I don't like creating new threads, so I decided to create one single thread where I can upload everything that I've done...
It should also be easier to find my work.

OK, I think I never uploaded some one of my latest stuff (or at least the "final" versions). I know that I have uploaded some of these before, but I will be adding some changes for most of the songs. So I hope you'll still be enjoying these, even though you've probably heard them before.

EDIT: I've decided that I will only upload my Mega Man stuff to THIS thread...

List of Songs:

2A03
Kevvviiinnn Stage Select 7
Kevvviiinnn Stage 32
Glue Man (Mega Man Unlimited)
Wily 2 (Mega Man Time Tangent)

Shock Man is still WIP, so you probably should ignore it...

N163
Frost Man (Mega Man 8 )

MMC5
Farewell to Ballade (Mega Man 10)

The frost man cover is my favorite of these! My only criticism is that the bass could be a bit more slap-bass like, but that would likely be quite painful to get right anyway. ;(

I'm curious to hear the rest of the N163 tracks!

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna do more N163 stuff since it's becoming one of my favorite expansion chips. I'm already planning to do like 6 or more covers

The next N163 song will be Ring Man, Grenade Man or one of Interrobang Pie's songs (not gonna tell which one, I want it to be a surprise), so stay tuned! :P

Looks like you finally were able to get a better icy sound for Frost Man. But why did you change the Slap bass? It was okay before.

Allrightythen...
My Ring Man cover is 50% complete. Now, I only need to add some N163 instruments, and maybe some DPCM samples wouldn't hurt.

EDIT: I am not gonna change all the notes in Pulse 1 (Frames 18-1A) an octave lower, because I think it makes the song sound worse. An octave higher sounds better in my ears.

Nice sound. You might try playing around with the bass so you can get some different sounds.

1. Great job on Ring Man! Though I'd maybe go for a bit more of a grunge-y bass (though it might not fit the song; it's just my taste)
2. EEK! I'm on there! Also, NICE CHOICE with Search and Grenade Man. MM8's music is so great, yet so unpopular...

mm_n163_retro2.ftm : Frost Man has a very good intro. I like the orchestration of the chords, nice open spacing, good independence of parts and variety of sound.

Following the intro I mostly don't care for the bassline. Here's a quick attempt at rewriting it. I rewrote the triangle/n163:1 (after the first 4 frames) with a new bassline, mostly written around the figures that were already there. I'd want to tweak the harmony a bit too, and this bass is probably too hyperactive, and I have no idea what the original this is a cover of sounds like, but I think it's a working example of what I'd do to liven it up a little. (A little more independent rhythm, using nearby tones to accent the rhythm as well, a couple of alternative chord voicings that I thought were kinda flat, etc.)

I still remember when you first came here with the Cut Man song and I helped you correct some wrong notes in the Triangle channel. Since then, you have improved a lot. All the tracks are nice, and I hope you successfully finish your retro project with tons of good songs. Cut Man really draws my attention! It's very nice!

EDIT: Oh yeah, Bomb Man has a lot of clashing issues in the last two frames. You might want to look for a way to fix that.

Well my newest song is Venus (it wasn't there before), you probably should take a look at that :P
And I'm re-uploading my old songs since it's called Warheart's Mega Man thread. I want them to be found easier...

And thanks for the kind words! <3
Bomb Man is still WIP, but it's still a good thing that you give feedback, helps me to improve and finding mistakes :P
