I think at frame 3 (or the last 2 counts on 2) you should go to using the other channels, but continue using the DPCM for the vocals. Otherwise, if this is your only plan for the song (DPCM), it will just sound sort of filtered. I don't know how to make DPCM's so I'm not going to judge the effort.

Then go for it! I'm not stopping you, I'm just saying what I would have done myself.

So audacity can export clips as DPCM? I use audacity a lot and I've never seen an option for exporting like that.

Uh I meant cutting the music parts to WAV importing them and set it all up.

Honest opinion? Pointless. I would have used the DPCM for the intro, and when the percussion comes in, I'd be using the chip to make the music. This is honestly pointless from a Famitracker point of view.

What Fezuke said.

It doesn't really accomplish anything if you just cut the song into pieces and import it into Famitracker. You might as well just compress it mad-crazy in Audacity then.

Alternatively, I think it would be wicked-rad to use the voice samples and Famitrack the rest in via your brain powers.

This sort of thing has been done before. It's tedious, but the concept works, more-or-less. Is this like a personal challenge or something? :P
