You could still have entered. The only deadlines are the submission and voting phases, so even if you start doing one right now you can enter as long as the contest hasn't finished yet.
You have around 30 hours to start something, finish it and send it.
Just edit what you have and submit that! Seriously. It's good!

And he can't edit this FTM and send it to DC7 because we all know his song now, and the rules say anonymity is highly encouraged. There was other rule about it, but I forgot.
Still, if he or anyone is fast enough, they could still make a new song and submit it. At the moment of this post, there's little more than 24 hours to do so.
