Really cool instrumentation and sound design here -- I've only briefly played World of Illusion (spent more time with Castle, though never bothered finishing it), but looking up the first stage theme, it seems very accurate!
Question, how are you creating these multi-wave N163 instruments? I saw a multi-chip FTM from you a while back (I think it was of the Zelda theme) which had a really cool string ensemble instrument, are you just splitting a regular sample into multiple parts and generating an N163 waveform for each using furrykef's Audacity tool or something similar, or doing it by hand, or...? I haven't had much success with the former so far.
EDIT: For instrument 7 your Wave envelope is 1 6 | 12 9 8 8 9 but the instrument itself only contains 6 waves, does it just use a modulus (i.e. the 8 becomes a 2) or is there some other effect to doing this I don't know about?

To answer the question then i will say yes, i used furrykef's Auduacity tool, splitted a MIDI string sample into different samples and made a N163/N106 string.

Nah, i was just trying to make the instruments blend together when played...
And i can't remember why all those samples are in instrument 7...
It's nothing special.
I like all your N163 covers, but there is something that annoys me: You don't set up the wave positions!
The N163 has a wave memory of 128 steps, which is shared between all instruments. If you don't set up different positions for the instruments, all waveforms will try to occupy the same wave positions, which will cause the waveforms to clash together.
You can of course assign two instruments to the same wave position, but you can't play them at the same time without them clashing together.
You can find the wave position parameter in the wave editing window.
Anyways, back to the topic: Dette er velig bra! Fortsett med det gode arbeidet!
Nice! Oh, by the way, nice DPCM bass. It's almost unnoticeable as DPCM since, you know, it's hard to achieve good results.

Okay then, I'll do more of these just to make you grow a better FamiTrackerer than you are right now, considering you are already awesome. Keep that way and you'll blast the hell out of N163(you would have scored really high in DC7 with this. As Slimeball said, you should have sent this to the contest, but you would have had to remove one channel).
