Hello everyone ^^

My name is Fernando Fernandez, I'm 16, from Santiago, Chile, and I wasn't born with an original NES (it was various pirate ones along my life, including the famous PolyStation), but I love it's music chip, although not as much as the C64 one...

Anyways, I'd like to share with you all this first piece of music I've composed after composing lots of ones and having shared none of them online :P

Having known and played the NES versions of the pinball machines "Pin*Bot" and "High Speed", I've asked myself: How would it be if there were more NES conversions of famous Williams's Pinball Machines? One of the recent examples I've completed the main theme of is "Banzai Run", which rocks a lot on the NES, >u<

Thanks everyone for hearing it, and I hope to hear opinions of you all! :D

Greetings

Fernando Fernandez.

Wait let me see if I'm dreaming... No! Man, I thought I was alone! I'm from Santiago too! Welcome to the forums!

Leaving that aside, nice song. I like how it sounds. I can even say that I wasn't this good when I started, but one year has passed and I have improved a lot. I may get to the original song to compare both, so I can tell how accurate this is(although I usually don't do this since I'm too lazy to search around for the song).

There are lots of people here who will guide you so you can improve your skills with the tracker. Patashu is a very good example of that.

Anyway, if you ever need help from me, feel free to send me a PM, and if you need help from other people, you can start a new thread on other section or just ask here. I hope you have a good time here! Greetings!

This sounds good, especially for a first cover, but you do realise that you can use Qxx and Rxx for controlled pitch bends, right?

EDIT: How rude of me! Welcome to the forums, and hope you have a nice stay here!

Hey, welcome to the forums.

I like the sound of this cover, it's pretty neat. There's a few technical shortcomings to the FTM though, all of which I've addressed (I wrote in the comments what I changed, so you can take a look). I hope you'll find this helpful.

Hi, just a word to say that I've been lurking this forum for years, and that I own Banzai Run (the real pinball)... it's a pleasure to hear this; you did a great job, please keep it up!

Welcome to the forums, Kaiser! I REALLY Don't wanna play moderator, but I feel it necessary to warn you against "necro-posting" in general.

That's what actually most beginners do when they arrive as I have been able to witness. Still, it's not so extreme in my opinion, so I would take it calmly and welcome him as normal, so Welcome to the forums Kaiser!

Actually, I liked the compliment he did about this track. It's very nice. Too bad turrican hasn't been around since this thread.

Now this makes me wonder why most people do this when they arrive here, but I feel this doesn't need to be discussed here.

Yes, people I'm back ^^ I'm sorry for leaving you all, but i just simply forgot a lot about these forums, and i had the typical duty of doing my school responsibilities, because i (think i) told you all, i'm only 16 years old, xD

Anyways, don't worry I'm #Back, and not only that, but also, i'll be bringing to the Famitracker forums my Skydrive folder of Famitracker music compositions n.n So, don't worry Rest assured i'm still "alive" ^o^

Thanks for your comments about the music cover of Banzai Run i've made I'll be surely happy to learn from my mistakes and understand new effects that i never heard of, like the two ones you mentioned ^-^ All of that when i have enough time, though -w-

Thanks again, and i hope to see you more regularly n.n

Glad you are still making music! Also, if you think you are busy, you still don't know me. I'm 18 and I'm in college, and there you have a lot of homework and stuff to do, every day!

Hey, and learning from your mistakes might just be the best way to learn, as long as it flows naturally.
