A little thing I did when sitting around with nothing to do, yeah, it's the boss fight theme from MegaMan Battle Network 4. It's obviously very early in the making.
Does anyone by chance have some better .dmc's I can use?
EDIT: Ftm updated.

Hi! Long time no see(2 or 3 days?). I have to say this goes pretty good up to now. However, there are lots of problems with volume control, but since it's still a very WIP, I can accept it. Try to balance all the channels so no one stands over the rest(like Pulse 2 of VRC6 does now). This is very hard to achieve, but will have good results.
About, DMCs, I could make some for you, but I don't have any of the split channels nor the tools to do this. Oh, and are you doing this by ear or by splitting each channel?
First frame needs a lot of work since those quick notes last a lot more than you already did in there. This is also hard to achieve, not only because they are quick, but because they usually have awkward rhythms that go out of the song's speed.
Should you finish this, you shall be officially the new Mastah here. Good luck.
In case you were still looking for some better .dmc, I've attached my old rushed cover of this song. I used drum samples ripped from the game (just the bass + snare) in this so feel free to reuse them if you like! Hopefully this will help you with some of the notation too; I think it's reasonably accurate.
I was never a big fan of the Battle Network games, but you both have good covers! I prefer TEHMEGAMASTAH's samples because they're louder, though.

Now polish it(volume, specifically) and you shall become MEGAMASTAH.
Still, you made a very good work. I of course noticed that you balanced the volume in all the channels, and it sounds nicer than it did before. It just needs a bit more of it, 2A03 pulses if I remember correctly. It still requires a lot of skill to make all the channels flow together, so I can say your skills are very good for a... beginner?, cause it doesn't seem to be like it. I could bet you have been some time playing around with the tracker.
Oh, and MMBN rocks, so if you ever dare making more covers, please upload them. I always enjoy them.
[VRC6 is perfect for these games. You are going by the right way.]
This actually is the first tracker I've ever used, hell the only thing I used before this was fl studio arranging midis with megaman x2 samples, so this was quite new for me. I actually play drums so keeping time is really natural for me.

Hmmm... FamiTracker is also the first tracker I have used. I never really liked FL Studio, but I always wanted to make music, then I found this, which was ideal for me since I have always liked NES music. FamiTracker is the best tool for this since it gives you almost everything you can need and it's easy to use.
I used to play other real instruments but I quit a while ago. It's nice that you play drums. I have always been curious about recording the sounds of every drum and converting them to DMC samples to see how they would sound.
And well, that's all for now. I hope you improve your skills a lot, since even this stuff you make is great.
