I second this motion. PPMCK, while not exactly as intuitive as Famitracker, can do things that Famitracker cannot, such as 5B and multichip support. Also, when you're stuck on something not powerful enough to run Famitracker, at least you can edit the PPMCK version instead. =P

Someone could also take advantage of the new text exporter and write a TXT to MML converter. That way it wouldn't have to be an official FamiTracker feature (after all, this is somewhat beyond the scope of the tracker).

But wouldn't it involve bringing back the same algorithm that was used for FamiTracker 0.2.7's ASM export feature? Because one thing I've noticed is that the structure of both an ASM & an MML file is very similar.

I could make it in 2 days, but I don't want to. If you don't know anything about programming and want to learn, probably you could do it in 5 days and at the end you might be able to program other things.
Yeah, I'll probably end up making a script to do this myself.
