Hey there! I'm really new here which is probably really obvious, anyways, I've been messing around with FamiTracker lately and started a cover of a theme from Homestuck, though it is FAR from finished. Anyways if you want to make any changes or anything feel free.

To do 12ths, such as in pattern 05, look up the Gxx effect in the effects list.

Is the song's chords really power chords? If not, why not insert the third note in? If it means you'll run out of columns later, simply drop the note for whatever's more important or turn part/all of the chord into an arpeggio. (Part of good NES music design is stealing channels for things that should be more prominent in the music, and giving them back when you're done - your mind fills in the gaps when the instrument isn't playing automatically! Cool)

Since you're using VRC6 you should mess around with changing duty cycles mid note, they're fun :3

Great stuff, love how dramatic sounding it is, and I think you captured those occasionally portal-sounding chords.

Ok here's a slightly new version, with better DPCM, fixed rythms, and echo.

Nice, I like the DPCM better. Also, What Is this "Homestuck" I keep hearing about? I googled around before posting, but could not find any source for covers.

It's an ongoing web-comic/interactive game/flash movie. So far it has about 8,000 pages or something like that. It's hosted at www.mspaintadventures.com

I was wondering how one could cover it, as I could find no music.

At the end of each act there is usually some sort of flash, and there are also battles between some of the characters for example here is the flash for this song:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AaiGMVdxkQ

Oh, I was unaware of that.. As for the link, I am only 13, and have filtered internet. 5 guesses to weather youtube is blocked or not.

Funny thing is, I'm also 13 xD I know how filtering can go, try using Infinite Looper, most filters don't usually catch it.
