I came to class fairly early today, so I thought that I would try something...interesting today. One of my favorite songs on the Genesis, Labyrinth Zone, spawned a few remixes throughout the years. I simply sat down and tried to figure out how it could be implimented into the VRC6 Chip without directly copying Danooct1. The result?

Well, you're listening to it...or, at least, you will once you stop reading this (seriously, who reads these?). I might work on one after class while I'm eating Lunch before I go to work, I might not. Regardless, my goal is at least one tune a week, and considering this class has PCs, I intend to make it happen.

Completion time: 1 Hour 15 minutes.

I can really hear that conspicuously missing channel from the Genesis version.
But other than that, it's a nice stylized spin on the original song.

Added tri, a new pulse width instrument on 2D and a really, really lazy crash (but it needed a crash)

These are fun to doodle over!

You're definitely having fun with this, aren't you Patashu? I must say, though, your takes on these are quite well done.

I read them to get a rough idea of what I am going to hear. Well, it was very nice, and I liked the improvizations you put in there. Although some chords don't follow what the song really sounds, it's still pretty nice.

Plus, I like your Akumajou Densetsu style. Where did you get those instruments?

I'd also like to hear Patashu's version, but I have to download it, save it in a flash disk, pass it to my computer, listen, come back here and post this. It is very annoying, since my computer doesn't have internet access.

Put Famitracker on your flash disk too?

Good idea. I have it, but I always forget I do. Thanks, maybe I'll hear some stuff more often.

But wait... This computer doesn't always have sound. I'm screwed up.

Bring headphones. Unless it literally has no way of playing sound?

It literally has no way to play sound(at times). I have now played that NSF from bassquiat and all was fine, and when I tried again it didn't work.
