I've been experimenting with this for a few days now and there are somethings I haven't figured out.

1) Every time I try to add more frames, they all seem to be linked. Whatever changes I make to one also changes the other. What can I do to correct this?

2)Is there a way to export the music you compose in other formats, such as wav or mp3?

3)I don't really understand the DPCM column. What is it for? WHat kind of samples are you supposed to use?

Thanks in advance.

1. Is checkbox Change All (below the frame list) is set?
2. Check the File menu.
3. DPCM is Delta PCM, 1-bit samples, you can hear them in many Konami games (drums). You can convert WAV files to DPCM using built-in converter, but take in account that quality of DPCM samples is always very low.

1.I've tried having it off and checking it, either way it has the same result. It just clones the first frame and has them all connected.

2. Ha, yeah. Almost as soon as I posted this I discovered that but thanks.

3. Okay, I understand a bit better now. I dono't think I'll be experimenting with that for a while.

Well, about frames.

When you insert new frame, you get new frame with different patterns assigned to different channels, probably not those you want. So, after adding new frame, you must change the pattern numbers for each channel using buttons + and - below the frame list. If Change All checkbox is checked, those buttons will change all pattern numbers in current frame at once.

I'm not sure if I'm just missing something simple, but how do I get sound from the VRC6 channels? I've used all the other channels with no problem, but for some reason, I can't quite figure out whats going on with the Konami squares and sawtooth. I have them loaded and seemingly ready to go. Help this newb out! Thanks

Matt

Woah, sorry. I didn't realize that I had to have a VRC6 channel selected when making the new instrument for it. THANKS ANYWAY!
