FamiTracker
Well, I'm not dead, and I've really wanted to get back into Famitracker after a long time away. To celebrate the comeback (if one would call it that), I've decided to do a fan favorite of mine: The StarTropics Dungeon.
Originally part of my VRC6 Covers Compo Entry, Version 1 was an instant hit to everybody I showed it to. They considered it more full and with much more of a beat to it. It surprised me that so many people liked it, but...there was a point where I had to make a decision on how to make it.
The nice, slow note that everybody liked was originally supposed to be an echo, as I used it in this version to kind of get me back into it. As a bonus, I altered the Percussion some and even changed up the Main Melody at points. Once again, this was done by ear considering I don't have the original .ftm I once had.
Well, I babbled too much again. Here's hoping that I get back into it.
OK, first of all, this song sounds epic. As with a lot of my comments on covers, I have never heard the original. Epic, either way. as for your coming back, I'm glad. I quite enjoyed you works. As always, It's good to say a practically dead member come back.

I like your style a lot, sounds smooth as always, the percussions were good, the leads, echos, everything. It's nice to see someone so good to be back. I'm looking forward to see more of your work!
For some reason, I can't seem to find the .ftm for my old version, but you can look up StarTropics Dungeon on YouTube and find the original on the NES...and my first version without the Famitracker Visual Recording, sadly :/
Whenever I get to a real computer and not this iPad, I suppose I can find my first version somewhere on this website. I might have to look far far far back into the old Demo Compo I participated in, but it's very possible.
