On topic: I think thanking with our wallets is also a good idea.

I think the forum asks if you're like 14 or older before signing up, but I could be mistaken. Either way, it's not something we've really enforced in the past; as long as you act in a mature enough way and don't cause trouble, you'll be fine.

I've made NES music before FamiTracker (namely with the mck toolchain), but I certainly wouldn't have made any more if FT hadn't come along. And I might have given up on music altogether, since NES music is all I make now. Thanks, jsr.

Thank you, JSR, for keeping the development of this program so constantly alive for the past eight years. Without it I WOULD have given up on music altogether seeing as I couldn't afford another of the one instrument I'm good at. Now I have another outlet, and an amazing community without which I would have never learned some of the amazing tricks in the world of NES/Famicom music making.

So, thanks JSR, and thanks to all of you on the Forums.

EDIT: in keeping with the new theme of thanking JSR, and displaying our ages:

16.6

Shit, I'm old. Once again I'll say I'm 17, and will be 18 in two months.

Also, thanks again jsr. Because of you and FamiTracker, I got back into music, and I have made my own songs, and will probably do more.

Originally, I was retiring from music once last year was finished, but now have remained on it by making some tunes in this amazing program. The reason is that instrumental music keeps me away from it once I lose inspiration, but thanks to all of you I have come back to music.

So as IaTM said, thanks jsr and everyone on the forums.

Well, Mr. Lepage is 21 or 22, and TechEmporium is in his mid twenties, so...

Carry on, as this is a beautiful thread.

I figured I'd join in as well. Thanks, jsr, I would not even know what a time measure was, were it not for you making this awesome program. I've tried other programs, like SunVox and MilkyTracker... But none of them are as easy to use as FamiTracker. Thanks again, jsr. FT is the ONLY reason I make music, and hope to make music for a living by the time I need to make one.

I honestly had no idea there were so many people here that had to lie to the registration. I discovered it when I was 10 and signed up at 12.

I bet there are millions of people who have done this to any forum or some sorts of websites like YouTube(I once did), Facebook and all of those things.

BACK ON TOPIC, THANKS JSR(TAKE 5). YOU KNOW WE ALL LOVE FAMITRACKER!

Yes I'm older than most of you. I can't stop laughing now. I also love when threads like this one go seriously off-topic, but since this has made me laugh, I cannot be mad at any of you, nor myself.

21, that's right. And there are older people than me here as well (rainwarrior, jarhmander, Rushjet, to name but a few).

Don't worry. We are having fun. Just try not to do it again with more important things and everything will be OK.
