Over my couple of years of being registered with this site (under a different name also) I have never ever seen a "thank you" given to jsr for creating and developing FamiTracker.
jsr works very hard in developing this wonderful program which - for me, and for a majority of you, I'm sure - is what got me into chiptune producing in the first place. It is one of the easiest and most fun to use trackers I have ever encountered, and I believe its popularity amongst first-time chiptune producers backs this up.
I could say that my life has changed through using this program. I have bonded with whole communities that I wouldn't even know about otherwise. I have gained and developed a hobby and a talent.
So let's all take the time to thank jsr for his continued development for this lovely piece of software!! We're lucky to have a developer who cares and listens to his userbase, so it's time we give some of that appreciation back!!
Famitracker is THE most comfortable, intuitive program I've found for music making. With all of its effects and instrument envelopes/macros it doesn't make you go through any bullshit just to slap down a triangle bass kick, fadein/fadeout, crazy changing over time noise effect or killer arpeggio. Jsr is one of the two reasons I am making music today.
I've seen thank yous being sent his way, and even a few donations, but since you're giving us the opportunity again: thanks jsr for taking the time to develop Famitracker for us noobs. Really appreciated. :)

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to [url=http://www.famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3633]request a hardware render.
It kinda astonishes me that somebody could make such a refined program in their spare time. If not for Famitracker I'd...probably still be writing music, but not many people would know.
I think I have thank him before, but yes! We should be very grateful for all he has done with this program, thank you jsr for dedicating so much of your time and effort into this project! It's helped me become a better musician

Thank you, jsr, thank you so much for giving birth to Famitracker. If I were to never encounter this god-like program, I would have never been anywhere as a chipist, musician or a person(not to get all emotional or anything).
Thanks jsr!

I proudly echo all of the above. Congrats and thanks to making such a user-friendly, fun to use music program :D <3 Definitely has nurtured my enthusiasm for NSF music
Great starting point for anyone who wishes to get into using trackers too
Thanks to FamiTracker I've got the probably best hobby of my life, I have learned more about music, the NES/Famicom hardware, I joined this community, I have heard great music from the users of this community, I have made cool covers, I have composed my own little tunes, but with the bad luck that I have only uploaded one, I have found new NES games, and for one year this little program has given me infinite fun, and will still do for a long time. I specially like the interface. Greatly intuituve, easy to use, fun to play with, and get to think about it: just make a blank instrument and you are composing!
I will always be grateful. If it weren't for FamiTracker, I might just be the same I was before, and probably my summer vacation would have been ruined. I probably forgot to say something, but the following would never be forgotten:
Whilst FamiTracker was not the thing that gotten me into music and certainly not chiptunes, without it I can safely say my musical skills and talent wouldn't have been accelerated with its extreme ease of use and help from talented people to take reference from.
While I prefer working with full blown productions and the Sega Mega Drive has always been my preference for chiptunes, having worked with the system for quite a long time before I even considered the 2A03, it has provided me with a tool that because of its portability and ease of use for either using it as a scratchpad for ideas or doing full NSF productions which constantly follows me wherever I go. It is one of the first applications I always put on a new installation or the like - I need to be writing music, all the time.
So, thanks, JSR, for providing a tool which has massively helped my skills and talents. <3
