I can't edit my earlier post, but the note on the end of that list should have rounded up to 326 instead of down to 325. (325.52)

I've submitted the new pitch table to the famitracker repository.

Since I don't really know the process for building drv_vrc7.h, I patched its tuning table by hand, but it should match what would be assembled from vrc7.s.

A test FTM with the resulting export using the old and new patch tables is attached to demonstrate the correctness of the new tuning. Also attached is a spreadsheet for calculating the correct values, and a python 3 program for assisting the patching process.

Nice work! But all I can say is... wouldn't it sound kind of out of tune with the other chips?

I'll just take this opportunity to ask a question. Why does the modulator seem to phase with the carrier on some notes automatically, but not on others? Are the two sine generators out of sync?

There is a loss of precision when the modulator's multiplier is applied, so yes they can get out of sync.
