Hey guys, i have an assessment for uni where i have to make a song through famitracker, problem is, i got no idea how to use it. that tutorial pdf does not help at all. im stuck, can anyone help me out, famitracker is starting to piss me off, i can enter notes and change the instrument and stuff, but theres no sound when i play it back? please help out asap.

You need to load or create instruments to get the sound.

yeah dont worry, i re-installed it and now its fine, i just need to learn how to translate guitar tabs into it, if thats possible? any hints or tips for doing so, since i am not a musical person, i do not understand notes etc at all.

Yes, it's possible. The only tip is you must learn notes etc. Also, you must learn basics of playing actual guitar and playing from the tabs, if you want to get good results.

ok, i understand the input etc, how do i make a note like play for a few beats instead of just one?

If you'll make non-zero level at end of the volume sequence (in the instrument editor), note will play until next note or until it will be stopped using Note Off event.
